Message: Having 3 previous back surgeries with another doctor I was hesitant. But Dr b and his PA Rhonda are truly amazing. They truly care and are amazing with knowledge and dedication.

Message: I first had a spinal fusion in my neck and it's perfect after 20 years of pain. This year he fixed my lower lumbar. This man great and completely honest dr.

Message: Blankenship and Rhonda really changed my life when I met him 2 years ago. I was unable to walk or stand for 10 mins at a time without pain. I needed to have 3 vertebrae fused and ran into a couple issues right out of the hospital. I developed a fever at 2am and called the hosp who got in touch with Rhonda, she called back within 10 minutes. I also caught a stomach bug, one of the worst pains I'd ever felt with front and back incisions. They got me through it though. I would recommend this team to anyone who is having back issues. My life has done a 180 and am now active again.

Message: After being in pain since 2003. Already had neck fusion surgery in 2003 by Dr. Knox. I was seen today by Dr. Blakenship and his Nurse. First impression of staff, very nice and answered all my questions. Went to room and meet his Nurse Practitioner I forget her name. She was very friendly. Had xrays of neck and lower back. Dr. Bakenship came into to meet and examine me. Very nice bedside manner. Very upfront not misleading at all. Then I meet with a physical therapist from next door. Dont know his name. Also very nice explained what he was doing and what he was looking for. Dr. blakenship came back in and we talked about my xrays, that I need a mri. What my options are, and we made a plan to move forward together. We also discussed my weight being a huge issues with some of the pain in my lower back. He was very gentle, and very concerned with me being able to feel comfortable talking about my weight. His overall goal is for me to be pain free. This was one of the best experiences I have had in over 10 years of living with daily pain. He was very nice, gentle approaching the subject of my weight. And has an amazing amount of support for his patients well being. I am very impressed with him, and his bedside manner.

Message: I had back problems for two (2) years and three (3)  months due to an injury. Despite being see by  two (2) Neurosurgery, and by (2) pain management doctors.  They cannot pinpoint the real problem. So, I was in my lowest point if, you know exactly what that means.. When I met  Dr. James Blankship for the first time,   he immediately saw the problem and explain to me why I was in a excruciating pain. His positive fix back, make me feel  like a new person even though the problem was till there. Dr. Blankenship is the MOST  professional, empathetic, caring and loving doctor I have EVERT met. He no only found the problem but he also fix it. Dr. Blankenship could see it the problem, so I don't understand why the others doctors couldn not.. Right now at this moment I am in my first week and two days after surgery. And I feel "AMEZING", Dr. James Blankenship gave me back the sense of  a normal human being and  for that I  thank you for the bottom of my heart. About the staff it is number one ( my personal experience )they have treated me with respect and dignity.. His Nurse Rhonda is well knowledgeable in the procedure, so she conveys the information to the patient in a crystal clear and understandable manner.. Dr. Blankenship teams of Doctor's specially the anesthesiolog, did a very good job. I just remember getting out of Pre-Op, then after I wake up at my bedroom. Surgery was already done, what an amazing team of doctors and staff. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Blankenship. Damaris Hampton.

Message: Dr. Blankenship and his staff are fantastic, especially Rhonda. I would recommend his clinic to anyone. I had cervical surgery 5 years ago and I couldn't ask for better results. I was having a lot of sharp pain between my shoulder blades, shooting pain, pins and needles and numbness down my left arm and into my index finger and thumb. After surgery, I was pain free and all of the other symptoms were relieved within six months. If you are having neck and low back problems then this is the place to go for help.

Message: I am very pleased with Dr. Blankenship, and Staff. They were friendly and upfront about everything and all options available. Rhonda is great, shes on top of everything. The hospital staff were great and friendly. My husbands pain is completely gone in his leg and his recovery process has gone very smoothly. If we are to ever need spine/neck doctor we will only come here!

Message: First off I would like to thank the entire staff at his office and the hospital. I am only 6 days post surgery and feel like a new person. I am still working on the numbness of the foot and bruise like pain in my back but I can feel the difference. Dr. Blankenship is true in his word about listening. I also loved the fact that the whole time talking with him on my first visit that he was staring into a computer and we got right down to business on fixing my problem. Thank you again for everything and I have already referred 2 people to come and see him because I trust and would go back to him in the future if needed.
