Highlands Oncology

Message: I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in late 2020. Thanks to Dr. Lockwood and the staff at Highlands my cancer is at a stand still. My last 3 scans have shown no active cancer. It is a blessing for me and my family that the treatments I was given worked. Dr. Lockwood didn't give up on me and because he didn't give up neither did I. I highly recommend anyone in this fight or has a family member in this fight to call on the doctors at Highlands Oncology. God Bless Them.

Message: Dr. Arthur is fabulous. She actually listens to me and uses what I say to help her evaluate my condition. She's a great credit to HO and our community.

Message: Amelia and Dr. Brautnick really listen to you. They do their best to find a way to ease any discomfort from the chemo treatment you are having. All the other staff have been very friendly too. I especially love Patti, the checkout assistant for Dr. Brautnicks team.

Message: Dr. Travis is my hero! HOG staff, nurses and doctors are so amazing. It is a comfort during difficult visits. I trust my life with them.

Message: Dr. Arthur and all of the staff at Highlands Oncology are wonderful. The front desk staff are efficient, friendly and set the tone for your appointment.. I really appreciate the in-house lab. The phlebotomists are skilled at blood draws and help make the best of a "sticky" situation.. Dr Arthur's office nurse does a great job getting information and relaying that information to Dr Arthur.. The nurses in the infusion lab do their best to make each patient comfortable and answer any questions that arise.. Finally, what can I say about Dr Arthur? She is a caring and compassionate professional. She is helping me navigate a difficult disease with her knowledge and skill. I honestly feel hopeful in her care.

Message: I always experience thoroughness and detail to any changes by all of HOG staff. Phlebotomists are some of the best ANYWHERE! Dr Schaefer has been treating me for years, and I have 100% full faith in his professional opinions regarding my care. HOG has been GREAT for me!

Message: HOG is friendly, efficient and patient-centered. The staff are patient with questions and knowledgeable in their answers. If they don’t have an answer, they will search it out quickly. I’m comfortable with and confident in the care provided.

Message: I have been a patient at Highland Oncology since my diagnosis in November 2022. Each visit has been “about me” and how we can address all issues. Dr. Shaefer and his team are incredible communicators and spend the time to ensure I understand where we are, what their plan is and establish an agreed expectation on what to expect. When there I know Highland Oncology is where I should be. The staff is phenomenal. Also, the smiles from each person are sincere. Never late and always takes the time to be sure my questions are answered. Yes, it is about me yet this is about them.
